Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At EmbDesign, we sell digital embroidery design files that are instantly downloadable after purchase. Due to the nature of digital products, our cancellation and refund policy is different from physical goods. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

2. No Cancellation After Download

Once a digital product has been downloaded, it cannot be cancelled or returned. Because the file is immediately accessible to you, we cannot offer a refund after the download has been initiated.

• If you have not yet downloaded the file, you may request a cancellation within 24 hours of purchase.
• After downloading, no cancellation or refund will be issued.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds only in the following limited circumstances:

• Technical Issues: If the file is corrupted, cannot be opened, or is significantly different from the description, we will either replace the file or issue a full refund.
• Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the same product twice, contact us within 48 hours for a refund of the duplicate charge.
• Non‑Delivery: If you did not receive the download link after payment, we will provide the link or refund the amount.

Refunds are not provided for reasons such as "changed mind", "bought by mistake", or "incompatible software" unless the product description was misleading.

4. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a cancellation (prior to download) or a refund (for eligible reasons), please contact us within 7 days of purchase with the following information:

• Your order number
• Product name
• Reason for request

We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.

5. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend your account and deny future purchases. We always encourage you to contact us directly for any problem.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges between different digital products. However, if you face a technical issue with a file, we will replace it with a corrected version of the same design.

7. Wallet Balance Refunds

Any refund processed will be credited back to your original payment method (if within 15 days) or to your EmbDesign wallet balance. Wallet balances are non‑transferable and can only be used for future purchases on our website.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
